Topics for Term Papers/Presentations

You will be expected to write 5-6 pages (typed & double-spaced) about a subject listed below. You are encouraged to utilize information from other courses, the Internet, and other sources to supplement textbook information. A bibliography must be included.  It would be extremely helpful that 5 students volunteer to write about one chapter each from the Labor Management Laws book.

The balance of the subject can be selected by a maximum of 3 students per topic. The group will then create a presentation of 15 to 20 minutes for the class.  You are expected to use visuals to make the presentation interesting (i.e.,: charts, pictures, overheads, handouts, artifacts).  Reading from your term paper is an unacceptable contribution to the presentation.  Videos and role-plays are good supplements to the material presented.  The presentation will coincide with the chapter readings to the extent possible.   Below are suggested topics that you may select from.
